Asst. Principal, Hope Matthews

My name is Hope Matthews, and I have served the Sherman Oaks Elementary community as the Assistant Principal for the past 6 years.  As the Assistant Principal, I work closely with Mrs. Miller and Ms. Rochetti to help oversee the operations of our school. 

You will also see me working alongside of students and teachers in several different capacities including the English Learner Program, assisting in the implementation of intervention/enrichment programs for students, and working with our Tech Team to ensure all of our students have working devices at school.  I am a member of and oversee our school’s Student Success and Progress Team, I am a Section 504 Designee, Foster Youth and Homeless advocate, and a contributing member to the well-being of students and staff by serving on our school’s Safety Committee.  I can also help you with Parent Square and Volunteering on campus.
