Learning Resources
ENRICH LA is launching their "Learn From Home" page, where they will be posting video garden lessons, activities, and healthy recipes that can be shared with teachers and students. In an effort to make our content accessible to the students that they serve, all their content will be in English and in Spanish. For now our content is mainly for students in grades K-5th.
- Video Lessons: Every week, we will be releasing a new garden lesson that can be shared with students. The lessons are similar to the ones we teach through our Garden Ranger Program during the regular school year. We have adapted the activities so that they are simple and easy to do at home.
- Recipes: We will provide simple and quick garden recipes that students can do at home. These recipes are the same ones that our Garden Rangers prepared for students during their weekly garden classes. We will continue to add recipes every week!
- Staying Active: We will also provide activities and exercises to keep students mentally and physically healthy, such as through plant yoga. These exercises also come straight from our Garden Rangers.
We hope that this can provide students with content to keep them learning and active during this difficult time. We welcome any and all feedback from administrators, teachers, students, and parents so we can make our content more accessible and helpful.
